Your Personal Data: What we need and Why we need it

 

Here at Towcester Family Law we take your privacy seriously and will only use your personal information which you have provided to us, in order to comply with our legal obligations as a Law Practice and to provide services in line with our contract with you. We will not collect any personal data from you that we do not need in order to provide and oversee this service to you.

 

 

What we do with it

 

We will not share information about you with third parties without your consent unless the law allows or requires us to.

 

 

How long we keep it

 

We are required under UK law to keep your files which will include your personal details (name, address, contact details) for a minimum of 6 years after which time it will be destroyed, unless your files contain information relating to children in which case the documents will be stored until the child reaches the age of 18.
