Our Team

Alison Awenat

I have been working at Towcester Family Law Practice since 2010 and I’m probably one of the first people you will speak to when contacting our office.  I will always make sure to listen and do my very best to put you at ease.  Nothing is too much trouble when helping people.

When not working, I enjoy travelling to new places and spending time with my family and friends.

Alina Schofield

I have worked in the legal profession for over twenty years.  Having started out in family law, I spent some time in civil law before deciding to return to family law where I have remained.

Having met Heather Rose in 2007, we formed a great relationship, both professional and personal before deciding to set out on our own in 2008.  We continue to compliment each other in our individuality that maintains the strong working relationship to provide the best service possible to our clients.

I am a member of Resolution and accredited specialist since 2011.

As a caring person, I love helping people often in very difficult circumstances.

When not working, I watch crime mysteries, and anything WWII related.  I love spending time with my dogs, being outdoors and the seaside.  Having recently been introduced to the world of yoga I am also learning about my spiritual side.

Heather Rose

I have worked in family law since before I qualified and although in the past I covered other areas of law, I now specialise in family law alone.  I took a career break to raise my children, both now adult before returning to work in 2000.

I’ve been a member of Resolution since the early 1990s and an accredited specialist since 2011.

I set up Towcester Family Law Practice in 2008, when Alina Schofield and I moved from another firm.  We’ve been working hard for our clients ever since.

I love meeting and helping people, whether just with advice or dealing with a matter from start to finish.

When not working, I knit, read and take photographs.  My favourite place to visit is West Penwith (the far end of Cornwall).

Jupe

Jupe is Alina’s dog and he sometimes comes to the office with her, to supervise us all!

Don’t worry, he’ll stay away from you unless you really want to meet him, but if you do, he’ll treat you like a long lost friend.

It’s an exhausting business, working in a Family Law Practice, as you can see…
